Cinnamon Project Lab: Replicating Rather Than Duplicating

Project Lab is a national competition to find local, church-based social action projects that have a deep vision to develop their model so that churches in other parts of the country can replicate it.

The winners will receive a prize from Cinnamon Network and Mercers’ Company that money cannot buy: a development grant of £30,000, plus support from the Cinnamon Incubator which includes: expert coaching, world class professional advice, targeted marketing and access to industry and government contacts.

Cinnamon makes it as easy as possible for local churches to respond to urgent social need and currently offer a menu of more than 30 exemplary, best practice Recognised Projects, such as CAP Debt Help, Street Pastors and Trussell Trust FoodBank.

Project Lab 2017 is specifically looking for projects that are led by young people (between 16-25 years of age) or help to tackle issues of poverty and social exclusion faced by young people within their community.

Cinnamon is delighted to be partnering with Mercers’ Company who are funding the winners and hosting the final at Mercers’ Hall in Central London.

If your church is doing amazing work for or in partnership with young people in your community, then we’d love you to consider applying for Project Lab 2017.
