Responding to coronavirus
As communities try and recover from the effects of coronavirus, we believe that churches have a significant part to play in reaching those who are isolated, vulnerable, hard to reach and desperately need hope. By making an unrestricted donation to Cinnamon Network you will be helping to provide:
- online resources to recruit and train volunteers to provide emergency help, such as food delivery schemes and befriending services for those who are isolated;
- weekly webinars to help church leaders and social activists to better respond to the issues caused by coronavirus and lockdown, such as mental health, parenting and loneliness;
- coaching for charity leaders to adapt projects to serve those most at risk, including young people battling self-harm and adults struggling with their mental health;
- specialist support for BAME (black and minority ethnic) churches who have been disproportionately affected by coronavirus.
Together, with your support, we can make a real difference by mobilising 500 volunteers, 100 BAME churches and establishing over 50 partnerships between Christian projects and other community stakeholders.
